1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe

We are offering for sale a 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe. Purchased by the current owner in 1965. The car was originally modified in the mid 50s, built to the style of that era. The engine is a 1953 Oldsmobile Rocket V8 and was completely rebuilt by Valley Speed in Kamloops, with an Isky 3/4 race cam and has less than 2000 miles on it. Tri-carb manifold with 3×2 barrel Strombergs. Pertronix ignition. Transmission is a 1953 Oldsmobile 4 speed automatic, also rebuilt. 2-1/2″ drop front axle. Rear axle dropped by 3″ by way of a “C” section. New brakes all around. All steel body, flawless. Time spent on the body measured in years. ’37 DeSoto bumpers with ’49 Chevy front license plate guards.

Spare parts include a complete 303 V8, 2 hydraulic transmissions, a tri-carb manifold, and two sets of fender skirts. One is aftermarket and one is a Ford set.
