1970 Chevrolet C10 CST RestoMod Frame Off Restoration 2021

The owner’s vision was to keep every aspect as original as possible
but with a complete fresh showroom finish. The only thing is, this
truck assembled today is better than the factory original.
Each sheet metal panel has been carefully scrutinized for any
imperfection with a proper alignment with adjoining panels with a very
consistent and precise presentation. All body lines flow evenly with
tighter gaps than the original assembly. The Plum Crazy purple
exterior finish has been completed by a very well known and reputable
body shop located in Northern Alberta. Endura paint was the brand of
choice for this exterior finish. The completely rust-free body is
mounted on fresh body mounts to a completely restored original frame
that has been professionally treated with an Endura finish as well.
The full suspension all new assemblies that has followed by the full
braking system, steering system and fuel system. The person who
completely disassembled and assembled this C10 is really getting
noticed as a top craftsman restoring vehicles in a timely matter
without taking shortcuts. This gentleman has several other projects
completed with a few more restorations that are on-going.
All exterior body trim is correct and holds a high compliment to the
Plum Crazy finish. Even the trim around each tinted window panel is
museum quality.
The classic new wood panel box floor is masterfully presented better
than original too. The decal from BC Government Union from the
1970’s is still displayed in the driver’s vent window.
The engine bay area is highly detailed and proudly displays the
beginning of the factory original 402 Big Block with correct engine
paint. Dress Valve covers, performance intake manifold and an update
to the power brake system is present. All belts, hoses and fasteners are new along with the full charging system and ignition system.

From the four-barrel carburetor with air cleaner system is all new. From the
exhaust manifold to the new true dual exhaust system that features a
definite big block rumble has been installed. The engine itself has
been professionally restored by again a very well-known engine
builder. The Turbo 400 Automatic transmission is really brand new and
assembled to the precision of the 402V8 that is well beyond the
factory assembly. Even the rear axle and driveshaft assemblies
complete are restored as new,
Opening the driver’s door features the original interior body panels,
bench seat, steering column and steering wheel. All the gauges are
factory original along with the headliner, sun visors and rear-view
mirror. Inside of the freshly painted glove box is the original
confirmation of the factory build of this truck. This truck is proudly
stored in a secure and controlled environment. Frame off restoration was at 72,635 Original Miles (only 609 Miles driven since restoration 2021)
