Amazing, rare Canadian Ranchero GT with a 428 Cobra jet engine and 5 speed manual transmission. There has only been 3 owners of this amazing car! Prior to now, the car was owned and beloved with lots invested by the previous owner since 1972 and has spent its entire life in Victoria, on Vancouver Island Canada. After 49 years of careful stewardship, it is time for our client to pass along this stunning hot rod. Taken down to bare metal, this Ranchero had a complete rotisserie restoration and was repainted with several coats of clear including factory style GT striping painted on and wet sanded before clear coat. Interior is gorgeous with custom gauges and reupholstered seats. Door cards were replaced. All trim and Chrome are beautiful.

Originally a 390 car, it is now equipped with a period correct vintage and very well built New build, 428 Cu. In. FE CJ , bored .040, with Keith Kraft modified Edelbrock aluminum heads, Eagle crankshaft, 0.040 over, Forged pistons, fully balanced and blueprinted, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, fitted with ’69 CJ. high performance carburetor, Special custom fabricated aluminum rocker covers, Deep Sump Cobra high capacity cast aluminum oil pan, MSD ignition, Steel flywheel, Center-Force clutch, , MSD Ignition and complete with Cobra Air Cleaner, power supplied via a new smooth shifting 5 speed Tremec 600 Transmission with Hurst shifter. 3.50-1 True-track differential with 31 spline ’69 CJ. axles with housing from a Cobra Jet Car. Suspension includes Relocated front upper control arms (Shelby Mustang style) with Koni shocks, CJ. coil springs, high performance bushings, ball joints, etc. with new rear leaf springs and more. Significant steel subframe reinforcement to stiffen the vehicle when operating under maximum power conditions. Borgeson power steering conversion, including ’69 CJ. pump and cooler. Electro hydraulic power brake booster, with discs at front. It has LED illuminated Auto-Meter high performance instruments, including tachometer, Torino GT upgrades including GT bucket seats with a flip down center console to allow for a third occupant, New GT door panels, with power windows and hand made stainless steel spoke steering wheel. This Ranchero is rolling on 15×7 (front) and 15×8 Magnum 500 chrome wheels with BFGoodrich Tires.

The entire vehicle was stripped to the bare essentials, media blasted and restored to show condition and finished with a base coat/clear coat, DuPont Premier glass like finish with the entire project designed, engineered and completed by the lifetime, skilled craftsmen of world renowned, Blaine Worth Restorations, of Victoria, BC. The interior /body/interior/glass/chrome/undercarriage is absolutely amazing. Laser straight body, fully restored by a Award winning professional restoration shop in Victoria BC.
